Business network for innovation
We are a business network for innovation. Our greatest strength is our cross-industry network of corporates, mentors and institutional partners. In addition to start-ups and scale-ups our network also includes established small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporationsthat are interested in current technologies and new business models. They are supported by public institutions from the worlds of business, science, and administration.
Our business network promotes innovation and entrepreneurship by encouraging mutual exchange. We want to play an active role in shaping the transformation of the economy in Dortmund and the Westphalian Ruhr region. After all, we can only solve the transformational challenges of our time by working together.
Corporates & SMEs
Thanks to the annual contributions of committed partner companies, the innoclub is able to support innovative start-ups as part of the one-year innoclub Fellowship and pursue other activities to drive innovation.
innoclub Fellows
The innoclub awards a one-year fellowship to innovative start-ups to help them grow in Dortmund. These seven start-ups are currently being supported with individual services with a total value of €10,000.
The admission of further fellows is possible on an ongoing basis. Interested start-ups can apply for an innoclub Fellowship at any time.
start-ups
innoclub supports a curated selection of more mature start-ups and scale-ups that already have several employees and have entered the growth phase. Graduates of the innoclub fellowship remain free members of the business network for innovation until the tenth year after founding their company, even after completing the accelerator program.
Mentors
As part of the fellowship, experienced mentors support our start-ups. They share their knowledge and contribute their personal networks to the business network.
This is where diverse expertise meets an open culture of making mistakes, so that everyone benefits from the individual experiences and learnings of one person.
Institutions
The innoclub is a project of the Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which is backed by the local supporters Economic Development Agency Dortmund, TU Dortmund, FH Dortmund and ISM Dortmund and was developed as part of the Masterplan Wissenschaft.
In addition to the initiators, numerous other public and scientific institutions in Dortmund are active in the innoclub network to support start-ups, SMEs and corporates in the transformation of the economy.
